THE Gear Locker (Base Insert)

For Harbor Freight (US General 22" end locker) ONLY

The base insert is the start of your storage ecosystem. 

• You will need one base insert to mount a dowel rod down the wall of your locker.
• You will need to select your attachments/holders to mount onto the dowel rod as an add on for this item.
  
• This selection includes (1) dowel mount for the front of your locker, (1) dowel mount for the rear of your locker, (6) inserts to connect the mounts to your locker (1) spacer for the offset mount. 

We do not include the dowel rod! You will need to source your dowel rods from Home Depot or other hardware store. The size that you must use is 3/4" wooden dowel rod. These rods must be cut down to 19.5" in order to fit properly and lock into place. Cutting the rods too short will cause them to not lock into the frame of the locker, cutting them too long will not let you insert them into the base. Home Depot will cut them for you in store if you ask! 

The included pins are inserted into the base on one end and pushed into the precut holes in the locker frame (with considerable force) on the other end. Your offset base piece is for the rear of the locker and the smaller centerline piece is for the front of the locker. This offset squares the dowel rod in your frame. The offset base will also receive a spacer to close the gap between the rear base and the locker. 

• You can paint your dowel rods if you'd like! Do some light sanding first and use a light coat, painting the rods too thick can make them difficult to insert into the mounts 

Please note that some products  may have small imperfections or visible seams since 3D printing is not perfect and seams are a natural occurrence as the nozzle changes direction between layers. Products may also very slightly from product photos as I improve on the designs and release newer and better iterations. 

Material: Additive manufacturing with PLA CF (this is not a high temp material and should not be stored in direct sunlight).
